CATEGORIES

These categories may overlap. It will be your choice to pick the category you wish to enter your image.

The InFocus Committee reserves the right to change the category of your entry if they deem it necessary.

Below you will find examples for each category. Please click on any image to see full sized.

Thank you to past years participants for these lovely examples!
1. New Category: ARTISTICALLY ENHANCED
This is where you can let your imagination soar, where the image in your camera can truly become the image you envisioned in your mind. Or maybe not. Perhaps the camera’s image is the embarkation point on a mission of discovery. Regardless, whatever digital manipulation or darkroom wizardry is employed, it must be your own and may not include borrowed skies or other third-party visual elements of any kind. If you are entering composited images, or images using photo editing software filters that produce painterly or motion effects, multiple exposures done either in-camera or in software, or images employing intentional camera movement, this is the category for you.
Entries with these effects will not be accepted in other categories.
If in doubt, please ask before submitting your work.
